Marquise
French Saddle Horse · Bay
Gentle, attentive — perfect for beginners and children.
Since 2018 · Versailles
There is no better vantage point to understand Versailles than from horseback. The scale of Le Nôtre's allées, the silence between the fountains, the smell of old oak and cut grass — things a tour bus will never give you.

Our philosophy
A horse under stress transmits fear. A horse cared for with respect transmits grace.
Our horses work no more than 4 hours a day. The rest of the time, they roam freely in the meadows of the Versailles estate.
Local hay, oats, fresh carrots. No chemical additives. Each horse has personalised nutritional monitoring.
Full grooming before and after every ride. Farrier every 6 weeks.
We never use spurs or restrictive martingales. Our method relies on trust and communication.
Those who have lived it
A timeless experience. Walking through Versailles' allées at a gentle pace, with only the sound of hooves — I'll never forget it.

We offered this ride to our parents for their 40th wedding anniversary. They still talk about it. The guide was exceptional, the horses magnificent.
